I believe the key to achieving outstanding sales results is passion for the industry that you work in, as well as personal and business integrity. In addition the ability to recruit and retain amazing staff and, most importantly, a commitment to clients and staff, that their interests are paramount.
Having worked extensively in the duty free sales sector for 38 years, initially engaged as a sole contractor, I recognised the inherent inefficiencies with the sales model prevailing at the time, which led me to the creation of Azzura One. It has progressively grown to a workforce of 50 high calibre staff operating across Australia, with amazing people who speak a diverse range of languages including English, Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Arabic, Spanish and Japanese.
Azzura One’s clients include many top tier suppliers within the spirits, confectionary and wellness sectors such as William Grants, Edrington, Arnotts and Blackmores.
Azzura One is a sales driven organisation constantly meeting and exceeded sales targets. Year on year sales increases are typically 10% or above.
We pride ourselves on excellent working relationships with local and international clients as well as executives at airports across Australia and are considered as trusted advisors. As a trusted advisor I have frequently been invited to visit client facilities and head office internationally due to our reputation in the sector.
A strong passion and dream of mine is to provide opportunities to those less fortunate and I do this by sponsoring 18 children from such countries as Haiti, Nepal, Myanmar and Mongolia from primary school to university. The end goal is to retire at an age where I can build schools in the villages of these children and allow others to believe that they can be or do anything that they set their minds to.
